SRT 101
The Frog System SRT 101 (Single Rope Technique) on April 19, 2025. This introductory course will cover the fundamentals of the technique, as well as the equipment needed to take your caving skills to the next level.
The clinic will be led by John Lay and Erin Bartlett, who have spent hundreds of hours on rope while exploring Canada’s longest and deepest caves.
This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your caving abilities and gain confidence in vertical cave environments.

• Date: April 19, 2025
• Location: Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park
• Duration: Approximately 6 hours
• Cost: $100 per person
• Course Details: The course will take place above ground using BC Cave Rescue practice cables and a rappel tower.
Participants will get half price off a future Caver’s Odyssey Tour which utilizes these SRT skills.
