SE Calgary Indoor Rigging and SRT Practice (2)

Scout hall in Calgary has some anchors set up for rigging/SRT practice. It is not an ideal facility (only have about 12' to ascend) but is better than nothing. It will be rigged with a couple lines, including 1-2 rebelays, plus some other climbing systems more from the arborist world (Blake's hitch, hitch climber, RAD.)

Hopefully we can get a couple options for SRT practice close to Calgary, including the offerings by CCT. This isn't the best facility but is convenient and might be a stepping stone to building interest to get into another place like the Climbing Centre or UofC. Notes: 1. The address is a bit confusing as it's not right on Lake Bonavista Drive but you go down an alley either off Lake Bonavista Drive or Lake Twintree Dr.) 2. There will be some Scout youth climbing at these times, but a future practice time would be dedicated for members. You are welcome to climb on the lines with your own harness/gear.
