Canmore Cave Tours Practice Rescue

Hey Everyone It's that time of year again were at Canmore Cave Tours we're getting the summer staff back so it's time to dust those winter cobwebs off and head underground. Every year we do our in-house cave rescue through Rat's Nest, were we do a full stretcher rescue from somewhere on the tour side of the cave. This year we want to extend an offer out to the club as well as those who are in ACRO to come out and join us. If you are an ASS member you can join however you will have to be with either a full ACRO member or with a Guide at CCT just for insurance reasons. So you won't be able to be for example using SRT equipment but you can help with patient care, stretcher attending, hauling etc. If you are an ACRO member you will be able to do all parts of the rescue. The rescue day will be held on Wednesday the 17th of May 2023 all day, probably starting at 9. There is also only 10 spots available so get em while the gettins hot :)
